Graduate Students

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Michigan Technological University is actively seeking a PhD student to work under the guidance of Dr. Daisuke Minakata in the research area of aquatic photochemistry with a focus on computational chemistry application. The project is funded by the National Science Foundation. Prospective highly motivated students with a M.S. degree in Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or related fields are encouraged to contact Dr. Minakata via email.

The starting time will depends on your time of acceptance to the university. The selected candidate will receive a full tuition support, stipend, and benefits. Prospective students should email GRE, TOEFL (if non-native English speaker) scores, and CV to: dminakat@mtu.edu
